Who is Papa Emeritus IV?
There is so much to say about him. This will be the longest page. So for now it's a WIP
Prequelle! This album was my first favorite, and the newest when I started getting into Ghost. Because of that, I know a bit more about it than some of the others! Some of the big themes in this album are the plague, the four horsemen, medieval times, things like that! In fact, there's actually different variants of the album cover, each with a different horse and rider in different places! If you don't count the intro song, Ashes (which is just a version of ring around the rosie), and Helvetesfonster, this was the first Ghost album that was very much a 'no skip' album for me. I think the only one I don't care for is Ashes, which is fair I think. Helvetesfonster is good! I'm just not always in the mood for it. My top three off the album are Dance Macbre, Miasma, and Life Eternal. Faith, Miasma, Dance Macabre, and Rats are songs that have been played live recently. Those songs were also featured in Rite Here Rite Now, with Papa Nihil on sax during Miasma.
